We are currently looking for committed tutors in the Thurrock area who want their work to have a genuine and lasting impact, not just fill a timetable. About the Role Most of the students we support are secondary-aged learners with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs and other complex challenges . Many have struggled within mainstream education and require patient, consistent support to help them reconnect with learning. This role is about far more than delivering lessons. It involves creating a stable and supportive learning environment where students feel safe enough to engage and progress. Your work will focus on : Building positive, professional relationships with students
Providing structured and calm learning sessions
Supporting both academic development and emotional regulation
