Warehouse Operative /FLT Driver

Experienced Warehouse / FLT Driver required, immediate start - ongoing contract, 6 months +, working Dayshift 08:00am - 16:00pm Monday - Friday ( 40 hours ) Well established client operating a busy distribution hub, role will be responsible for Duties Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring accurate handling and placement. Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage stock levels. Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation. Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse. Utilise forklifts and other machinery safely for transporting heavy items within the warehouse. Assist in maintaining a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Engage in heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury. Apply basic math skills for inventory counts and record keeping. Qualifications Previous warehouse experience and Counterbalance Cert essential. Familiarity with warehouse management systems is an advantage. Proven ability in materials handling and operating forklifts safely. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in all tasks. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) consistently throughout the shift.
