Rose Bruford College is seeking a compassionate, organised and proactive Student Wellbeing Advisor to join our dynamic Student Life team. In this role, you’ll work directly with students experiencing emotional distress, mental health challenges, or wellbeing concerns - providing confidential support, triage, risk management and referrals to ensure timely and effective care.
You’ll play a key role in promoting early intervention and resilience-building, while collaborating with academic teams, the Students’ Union, external partners and internal services to create an inclusive, supportive environment for all our students.
What you’ll do:
Offer individual, student-centred wellbeing support through triage, casework and referrals.
Manage the counselling triage system and conduct initial wellbeing assessments.
Work closely with the counselling team, disability team, safeguarding leads and academics to manage complex student cases.
Coordinate student engagement with internal and external support services, including GPs, mental health professionals and pastoral staff.
