Job Type: Temporary - Full-time, based on site We are seeking a dedicated Student Support Officer. This role is crucial in enhancing student engagement and retention by working closely with the Student Engagement Manager, Senior Tutor, and Directors of Education. The successful candidate will lead the administration of the extenuating circumstances process and act as a liaison for student feedback, ensuring optimal support and maintaining high levels of student engagement and retention. Day-to-day of the role: Collaborate with the Student Engagement Manager and Senior Tutor to implement the School’s student experience strategy, focusing on student engagement, retention, and success. Manage the collection, tabulation, and dissemination of student engagement data, providing insights to academic colleagues to support at-risk students. Administer the extenuating circumstances process and manage data related to student experience. Document support needs for incoming students with disabilities and maintain regular contact with students resitting out of attendance.
