A Day in the LifeWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our fast-paced Pricing & Contracting team. This is an excellent opportunity for a student pursuing a career in Finance, Business, or Commercial Operations to gain hands-on experience in the healthcare / MedTech sector, contributing directly to strategic offer development, Tenders and contract execution.
Internship details:
• Start date: September 2025
• Duration: 12 months
• Working hours: 37.5h/week with flexibility (exams and holiday period)
• Working model: hybrid (at least 2 days in the office)
• Location: Watford, Hertfordshire
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
• Support Submissions: Play an active role in coordinating and preparing high-impact offer and bids responses, helping to shape proposals that align with NHS priorities and demonstrate real-world value.
• Project Management Support: Collaborate with the team to maintain project & process timelines, track milestones, and contribute to delivering programmes that make a difference in healthcare outcomes.
• Data Analysis & Business Intelligence: Manage data and track progress, expand your skills from your excel skills to learn tools like Vendavo and Power BI to generate insights, support pricing strategy, and drive informed decision-making across programmes.
• Document Drafting & Coordination: Assist in the creation and review of key documents, including reports, templates, contracts and communication materials that help bring clarity and impact to our work.
• Team Support and Collaboration: Engage with cross functional teams and senior pricing team members to align deliverables with market needs, customer expectations, and internal capabilities.
Required knowledge:
• Currently studying towards a degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills – able to manage multiple deadlines.
• A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills – confident interacting with cross-functional teams.
• A collaborative, team-oriented approach with a willingness to learn in a busy environment.
Would be a plus:
• Experience using Excel in coursework, internships or part-time work.
• Understanding of commercial contracts or pricing strategy is a plus but not essential.
• Curious, commercially minded, and interested in how contracts support business growth.
