Join CFA Institute as a Senior Global HR Business Partner, where you’ll serve as a trusted strategic advisor partnering with senior leaders to design and deliver enterprise-wide People & Culture (P&C) strategies that drive organisational effectiveness, growth, and sustainability. Operating as an executive coach and change leader, you’ll translate vision into action, foster leadership capability, and enable a high-performing, inclusive culture across all regions. What You’ll Do
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, shaping organisational and people strategies through a deep understanding of business drivers and organisational dynamics. Partner with leadership to translate strategy into actionable people plans that enhance performance, agility, and scalability. Build and sustain trusted relationships at the executive level, providing data‑informed insights and challenging decisions to influence key business and talent outcomes. Lead enterprise‑level organisation design and workforce planning, ensuring structures, roles, and capabilities align with evolving business models. Collaborate with business and finance leaders to develop workforce plans that anticipate capability needs, cost implications, and future talent risks. Partner with Centres of Excellence to identify and develop high‑potential and critical talent, facilitate succession planning, and drive leadership effectiveness. Ensure equitable and performance‑linked reward frameworks and deliver a consistent, globally cohesive employee experience. Act as a change catalyst, leading transformation initiatives that strengthen resilience, collaboration, and inclusion. Serve as a culture steward, embedding a growth mindset and continuous improvement across teams and regions.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organisational Development, or a related discipline; CIPD qualification or equivalent professional certification preferred. Extensive experience as a strategic HR Business Partner within complex, global and matrixed organisations, operating in fast‑paced environments and balancing strategic foresight with practical delivery. Proven success in delivering organisation design, workforce planning, and enterprise‑wide transformation initiatives that align people strategies with business priorities. Demonstrated influence and stakeholder management at MD/C‑suite level, with the ability to shape leadership thinking and decision‑making through trusted relationships, insight, and credibility. Hands‑on change management experience leading cross‑functional structure, process, or operating‑model initiatives with measurable outcomes. Strong employee‑relations judgement, able to manage complex or sensitive issues with autonomy and pragmatic risk awareness. Strong business acumen and understanding of global employment frameworks and best practices. Nice to have: Experience within financial services or professional membership; APAC exposure advantageous.

Compensation Expected annual salary range: £90,000‑£100,000 (based on experience, education, location and other factors relevant to the position). Additional benefits include eligibility for an annual incentive bonus, a 12% employer contribution to a pension plan, and a comprehensive medical benefits package.
