Develop novel video coding algorithms and solutions for next generation video codecs improving compression efficiency and enabling new user experiences.
Participate in hands-on research work and contribute to standardization
Initiate and create research ideas as well as contribute to research work that leads to technology transfer, publications and Intellectual Property.
At least a Masters degree, a PhD degree (preferred)
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience on algorithm development in video coding
Strong background and knowledge of image and/or video signal processing and compression, including latest video coding standards, such as HEVC and VVC.
A track record of patent creation and publishing in scientific journals in the fields of video/image signal processing and compression.
Strong verbal communication and presentation skills in English along with excellent technical and scientific writing skills in English.
Knowledge on 360-degree video/image processing.
