OverviewLoughborough University MATLAB Student Ambassador role at MathWorks. The MATLAB Student Ambassador position is a paid, part-time role requiring a commitment of approximately 5 hours per week.ResponsibilitiesExplore and implement creative ideas for spreading awareness for the MathWorks brand and products among studentsIdentify and engage with prominent student organizations related to Engineering, Math, Science and FinancePlan and organize events on campus to demonstrate the state of the art with MATLAB and SimulinkUse social media outlets and university communication channels to promote MathWorks Student Challenges and resources for learning MATLAB and SimulinkPromote MathWorks presence at university career fairs, information sessions and other recruiting eventsMathWorks nurtures growth, appreciates diversity, encourages initiative, values teamwork, shares success, and rewards excellence.QualificationsProficient in MATLAB; familiarity with Simulink is a plusStrong interpersonal skills with a passion for social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, blogging, etc.)Undergraduate or Graduate student in good academic standing with at least 2 semesters remaining in the degree program (preferably in Engineering)Excellent written and oral communication skillsStrong time management skills and the ability to work on several projects simultaneouslyLegal authorization to work in the UKCandidates must be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s level degreeEmployment detailsEmployment type: InternshipSeniority level: InternshipSource noteReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at MathWorks by 2x #J-18808-Ljbffr
