HGV Class 2 Driver

JAM Staffing Solutions are recruiting a HGV Class 2 drivers for our Wolverhampton based client.

* Delivering assembled furniture and flat packed furniture to households.

* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

* Good geographical knowledge of the UK road systems.

* Minimum of 2 months HGV Class 2 experience required for insurance purposes.

* Must hold valid licence for the category of vehicle, CPC and Digi card.

* House removal experience would be advantageous but not necessary

* Must be prepared to go through a DBS check

The job role includes:

* Delivering furniture to households within a large radius of Wolverhampton

* Would need to be physically fit due to nature of work

* Large amount of hand-ball, as furniture would need to be put in the appropriate room as directed by the customer, including upstairs.

* You would have assistance from a Drivers mate / Porter

* Must be polite, dressed smart in dark colours, and well-mannered as role will be customer facing.

* Monday to Friday.

* Minimum of 1 years’ experience.

* Average shift length is 11 hours per day

* Start time would be 5am

* This position is Temp to Perm for the right candidate

Pay Rates

PAYE rates

* Weekdays £14.50ph

PAYE Rates with Rolled up Holiday Pay

* Weekdays £16.25ph
