Were looking to build a strong pool of drivers who want ongoing shifts and stability, with excellent support from our team.
Shifts Available: - AMs: 04:00 10:00 starts - PMs: 15:00 20:00 starts (mainly 16:00) - Monday to Friday block bookings - Saturdays available for extra shifts - Minimum 8 hours paid per shift - Paid breaks included
Pay Rates (PAYE): AM Shifts (MonFri, from 04:00) - £17.00/hr basic - £19.05/hr (with rolled-up holiday pay)
PM Shifts (MonFri, from 15:00) - £18.00/hr basic - £20.17/hr (with rolled-up holiday pay)
Saturdays - £18.00/hr basic - £20.17/hr (with rolled-up holiday pay)
Sundays - £19.50/hr basic - £21.85/hr (with rolled-up holiday pay)
The Role: - Container work only collections and deliveries including runs to Felixstowe Docks - Working with new Scania trucks - Shunting and operating skeletal trailers with sliding bogies and twist locks - Operating both manual and automatic vehicles - Completing accurate delivery, mileage, and fuel records - Paid assessment prior to starting
Requirements: - Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence - Minimum 6 months experience driving Class 1 - Container experience desirable but not essential - Clean driving record no major infringements or accidents - RHIDES card preferred (can be applied for online)
