LGV C+E - LE4 Area Job description: The Best Connection Group Ltd are currently recruiting with one of the UK's largest transport operators on behalf of a well-respected snack food manufacturer based in the Beaumont Leys area. We're looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to work across all 7 days working on Days or Nights. A typical day will consist of two / three drops, all to RDC's and averages around 50 hours a week.

There is no Handball required in this role. Job Type Ongoing Flexible shift pattern to suit Pay Rates Shifts £16.50 per hour for Days and £18.00 for Nights Shift starts are around the clock to suit Shifts across 7 days Average shifts are 10 hours per day Qualifications A full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC) A valid Digital Tachograph Card No more than 6 current penalty points No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years Responsibilities of a Delivery Driver Check the vehicle regularly and report any issues Drive safely and follow all traffic laws Use GPS or maps to find the best routes Deliver goods on time, in full and to the correct address Communicate politely with customers Report delays, accidents, or problems to your manager Other benefits of working for The Best Connection Group Limited includes Ongoing temporary assignments Opportunity for permanent positions after a successful qualifying period 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holidays and not rolled into the salary) Weekly pay Perks at Work scheme Online payslips Pension contribution
