HGV Class 1 Driver

The Role:

We are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for afternoon shifts based out of our client’s Penrith depot. This role involves the delivery and collection of biomass fuels using walking floor trailers.

You’ll be working within a well-established operation, completing regular runs while ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out deliveries and collections using a walking floor trailer
  • Ensure goods are transported safely and securely
  • Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain accurate paperwork
  • Work efficiently to meet delivery schedules
  • Represent the business professionally at all times

    • Requirements:

  • Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence held for a minimum of 12 months
  • At least 12 months of recent driving experience
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
  • No more than 6 penalty points (SP offences only)
  • Walking floor trailer experience desirable but not essential (training can be provided)
  • Physically fit and capable of manual work when required
  • Reliable and professional with good attention to detail
