Temporary Event Administrator
Location: Richmond (3 days in the office)
Hours: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm
Duration: 1-3 months

Our client is seeking a bright and motivated temporary candidate for a fast-paced event administration role. This opportunity is ideal for a university graduate looking to gain office experience within a global, corporate events company.

You will be supporting a team of Event Administrators during busy periods, contributing to the smooth delivery of high-profile events.

What You Will Do

As a Temporary Event Administrator, you will assist with a range of administrative and coordination tasks, including:
  • Researching event logistics such as dates, timings, flight itineraries, and visa requirements
  • Preparing invitation letters and building event-specific spreadsheets and databases
  • Editing and managing content for event registration websites
  • Mail-merging invitations and liaising with delegates regarding attendance, travel, and accommodation
  • Providing logistical and technical support for both face-to-face and virtual events
  • Supporting pre- and post-event activities, including managing materials and processing expense claims
  • Acting as a key point of contact for delegates, delivering excellent customer service throughout
Who You Are

You will be an organised and enthusiastic individual with a proactive mindset and a willingness to learn. The ideal candidate will have:
  • A university degree (or be a recent graduate)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • A positive and adaptable approach in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous customer service or people-facing experience (beneficial but not essential)
This is a temporary, seasonal position offering valuable exposure to event administration within a global organisation. For the right candidate, there may be potential for a permanent opportunity.
