Are you an experienced administrator with a knack for service coordination and contract management? We're working with a well-established client in Chelmsford who is looking to appoint a Contracts and Service Manager to oversee the smooth running of their busy service department.
This is a pivotal role where you'll be the go-to person for customers needing equipment servicing and contract support. You'll ensure operations run seamlessly, delivering a professional and customer-focused experience every step of the way.
Duties:
Coordinate repairs, including booking equipment in, arranging collections/returns, and liaising with engineers and customers throughout the repair process.
Manage and administer maintenance contracts, including renewals, amendments, and updates.
Negotiate service contracts.
Prepare, issue, and track contract renewal quotations and service documentation.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM and service management systems.
Provide excellent customer service, handling calls and emails professionally and promptly.
Support the service and contracts team with general administration, scheduling, and documentation.
Assist in preparing management reports and service performance data as required.
Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to ensure efficient coordination of services.
Ensure all customer interactions and contract activities are compliant with company policies and procedures.
What We're Looking For:
Solid administrative experience in a similar office-based role.
Proven ability to negotiate service contracts.
Background in contracts administration or service coordination.
Excellent communication skills and a confident, professional telephone manner.
Strong attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/service management systems.
Organised, proactive, and comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
