Reporting into the Director of Communications & Events. This role will provide pivotal support to the Global Communication teams, with a wide range of core responsibilities to help the smooth day‑to‑day running of the department. We are seeking someone with a passion for luxury fashion and style and who enjoys the fast‑paced nature of PR and events. The role will also work hand in hand with other MR PORTER teams including content, fashion, buying, production and customer relations.

What you’ll be doing

  • A brand ambassador for MR PORTER
  • To lead with closely monitoring and tracking MR PORTER’s exposure in the media
  • To manage and update the INTL media database, whilst supporting with the overall global media database
  • To manage VIP dressing and sample requests in the UK and MR PORTER’s INTL PR agencies, liaise with couriers, and organise sample returns
  • Support on key initiatives to bring MR PORTER’s private label Mr P. to life
  • To manage all image, press discount, and ad‑hoc requests for press
  • To oversee all back‑of‑house gifting and sample requests
  • To provide the team with assistance on spokesperson photoshoots
  • To provide the team with assistance in the run up to and during regular high‑profile media and customer events
  • To support with PR reporting and directives
  • To handle and assist with influencer and editor giftingTo oversee team admin requests
  • Managing global PR subscriptions
  • Seek out emerging new media and platforms across the style, culture and lifestyle space
  • Supporting with the Director of Communications & Events on all events and activations across the year in the UK and INTL regions

The type of person we are looking for

  • Graduate (or equivalent) with a minimum 1‑year PR and events experience in a luxury and/or fashion‑based environment
  • Demonstrate understanding and passion of the luxury fashion industry
  • Highly capable to work in a fast‑paced environment and work well under pressure
  • The ability to work well as a key member within in a team, taking on your own responsibilities
  • Great time management and can prioritise and multi‑task
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook skills proficiency
  • Extremely well‑organised, methodical and efficient, with a good dose of common sense, humour and initiative
  • Proactive and able to show initiative/ideas to constantly promote the MR PORTER brand and product offering
