This role is responsible for supporting student wellbeing, welfare, and progression needs. The position focuses on implementing Study Group Ireland and QQI policies, standard operating procedures, and processes to ensure that both staff and students are fully supported, thereby maximizing student outcomes and overall satisfaction.
Reporting to the Deputy Director of Student Experience, the role requires working within a matrix structure and fostering strong collaborative relationships with the Student Experience Team, Centre Academic Team, Centre Management Team, central Study Group teams, and the university partner to ensure the seamless operation of the Centre.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Ensure effective case management of all student welfare concerns or information on LDHD, ensuring the safeguarding of students in line with Study Group policy and standard operating procedures.
Responsibility for the provision of student welfare and safeguarding within the centre and the related administration and secure record-keeping.
Act as Deputy Designated Liaison Person and monitor the escalation phone in the absence of the Deputy Director Student Experience.
