OverviewAbout the role: Student Enrichment OfficersActivate Learning are looking to recruit a vibrant, creative, and people-focussed candidate to join our Student Enrichment team. Our Student Enrichment Officers are responsible for making college life on campus a fun, inspiring, and enjoyable place for all our students.You will also be responsible for organising a programme of clubs and events on your campus, working from an annual plan of events and enrichment which is followed across all of our campuses. You will work with local teams to make these specific, relatable, and effective for your campus.You will lead on a variety of areas in relation to the Learner Voice and student feedback programme on your campus. This will involve recruiting and supporting student leaders, organising regular focus groups and feedback sessions, as well as the annual Student Conference. You will be a champion for student feedback and develop strong relationships with Faculty teaching teams and Group Services support teams to be a conduit for the student voice.You will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the Student Leadership Team on campus, helping them to raise their profile and extend their reach across the student body.This is apermanent full-time, term-time only role (0.88 FTE) based at our Reading CollegeResponsibilitiesOrganise a programme of clubs and events on campus in line with an annual plan, collaborating with local campus teams to ensure relevance and impact.Lead on Learner Voice and student feedback, recruiting and supporting student leaders; coordinating focus groups, feedback sessions, and the annual Student Conference.Act as a conduit for the student voice by developing relationships with Faculty teaching teams and Group Services.Coordinate and support the Student Leadership Team on campus to raise profile and extend reach.Requirements/QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have experience of working with young or vulnerable adults and will possess knowledge, gained through a student-based role, of barriers to participation in education, with a creative approach to engagement and participation.Approachable, forward-thinking and solutions-focused with excellent planning and organisational skills.Experience in organising events and/or large-scale projects is desirable.About Activate LearningWe see our employees as individuals, empowering them to make the right choices for their ambitions and careers.
