Oldham College is seeking a dedicated and motivated Student Engagement Officer to join our vibrant Student Services team. This role is essential in ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of our learners, staff, and visitors. Key Responsibilities : Manage student behaviour and de-escalate challenging situations, ensuring a safe and positive environment. Have experience in working alongside students in an education setting Engage with students to identify support needs and build constructive relationships to promote well-being and full participation in college activities. Conduct safety and security protocols, including ID card checks, monitoring CCTV, stop and search procedures, and ensuring the safety of the college premises. Support safeguarding and health & safety protocols, including assisting with first aid and emergency procedures. Collaborate with the Student Safety Engagement team to maintain a safe and inclusive campus environment for all.
