I'm currently working with a leading University on the search for a Student Communications and Engagement Coordinator on a 3-month contract, working 2 days in the office and 3 days remotely. What you'll be doing: Developing and implementing a comprehensive student communications strategy that aligns with the university's objectives. Creating engaging and informative content for various platforms, including our student portal, social media channels, email newsletters, and digital signage. Managing and maintaining student-facing communication channels, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of information. Collaborating with different departments (e.g., student services, academic schools, marketing) to gather information and coordinate communication efforts. Developing and executing student engagement initiatives, events, and campaigns that foster a strong sense of community and belonging. Supporting student-led activities and societies, providing guidance and promotional support. Monitoring and analyzing the effectiveness of communication and engagement activities, using data to inform future strategies. Staying up-to-date with the latest trends in student communication and engagement within the higher education sector. Acting as a key point of contact for student communication enquiries.
