Role/Department:
The Regulatory Change Technology team is a newly formed team that develops, maintains, and supports Compliance Regulatory Change management organization. This team is responsible for all data and technology capabilities supporting rules inventory, horizon scan, compliance testing, compliance risk assessment, and compliance metrics monitoring.
We are seeking a hands-on Senior Compliance technology Developer to implement business requirements under the direction of product management and technology leadership. This role involves ServiceNow and Cube configuration, custom integration development, and support on production issues. It also requires in-depth knowledge of ServiceNow capabilities, with prior hands-on development and configuration experience. Key knowledge includes ServiceNow IRM capabilities, along with ServiceNow modules such as Audit.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
- Works closely with client management to identify and specify the complex business requirements.
- Provide consultation to business unit and IT management and staff at a high technical level on all phases of the project development cycle.
- Hands-on designer for systems and their subsystems utilizing a thorough understanding of available technology, tools and existing designs.
- Implement changes with business unit, ensuring all changes are executed to the highest quality and alignment with business objective.
- Support global operations with issues and bug fixes. Ensuring timely remediation of bugs, and provide adequate consultation with business unit partners to determine the most effective resolution.
- Help direct systems projects, including project planning, management status reporting, systems specifications and implementation.
- Review, negotiate, and maintain vendor contracts and makes recommendations for purchasing outside services.
- Maintain effective communicate with various business areas and outside vendors, consultants, and clients.
- Ensure all technical implementation are well documented and adheres to audit and control requirements.
The successful candidate will benefit from having:
- In depth regulatory compliance change and rules capabilities experience.
- Hands-on technical experience with horizon scan, GRC systems, and other compliance capabilities systems experience. Must have ServiceNow configuration and customization experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
- In-depth knowledge of the system development life cycle, the client area's functions and systems, and applications program development technological alternatives
- Analytical ability, strong judgment and management skills, and the ability to work effectively with client and IT management and staff.
- Highly flexible and adaptable to change.
- Leadership and organizational skills are required to help determine the Business Unit's goals, resources needed, and help assess and assist in the development of the skills of the staff
- Experienced, functional area expert with technical and/or business knowledge and functional expertise.
- Must be competent to work at a technical level of all phases of system design and implementation.
