Salary: from £42,679 to £51,000 per annum, with potential to progress to £54,730 per annum inclusive of London allowance.
Contract: Open-ended, subject to funding, for 4 years.
LSE Cities, a dynamic centre at the London School of Economics and Political Science, focuses on research and education about urban transformation. We promote cutting-edge research, support city leaders in urban development, and organize impactful events.
The European City Leadership Initiative (ECLI) aims to help mayors across Europe enhance leadership, foster public sector innovation, and address urban challenges effectively.
This role will lead the development of a vibrant LSE Cities/ECLI student and professional community, managing engagement from outreach to alumni transition. A key focus will be launching the student component of ECLI in July 2025, developing strategies for attraction, recruitment, and engagement across various ECLI initiatives, including scholarships, PhD studentships, capstone projects, student modules, fellowships, and residencies.
Candidates should have experience in event management or similar, working in student-facing roles within higher education, with skills in planning, managing student events, and delivering excellent student experiences. Strong communication skills tailored to diverse stakeholders are essential.
