HGV Driver – Class 2

Are you an experienced HGV Driver looking to work in a fast growing organisation? We’re seeking a reliable and motivated driver to join a friendly organisation, helping us deliver a safe, efficient, and high-quality service to a number of clients. Reporting to our supportive Transport Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the safe transport of goods while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and customer service. What you’ll be doing * Carrying out deliveries accurately, safely, and on time * Completing all required documentation in line with company and legal standards * Attending training to stay fully equipped and contributing to continuous improvement * Reporting any accidents, incidents, or equipment damage promptly * Maintaining excellent service levels, ensuring a first-class experience for customers * Ensuring vehicle security and safeguarding goods at all times * Promoting Unimetals positively with colleagues, customers, and partners * Conducting daily vehicle safety checks and taking corrective action where needed * Reporting any non-conformances and supporting resolution * Complying with all transport procedures and legislation What we’re looking for * Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail * Great interpersonal and communication abilities (written and verbal) * A self-motivated, adaptable, and reliable approach * Integrity, professionalism, and respect for confidentiality Qualifications & Experience * HGV Licence – Class 2 or above (essential) * Solid logistical and geographical knowledge * Valid Digital Tachograph Card & Driver CPC
