Pay Rate:£14.29 per hour
Overtime Rate:£17.86 per hour (after 45 hours per week)
Job Type:Full-Time
Shift Pattern:Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays)

We are seekingtwo experienced HGV Class 2 Skip Driversto join their team inSalford. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and safety-conscious professionals to be part of a team committed to sustainability and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate HGV Class 2 vehicles (Skip & RoRo) for waste collection and delivery.
• Plan routes effectively to maximise efficiency.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Maintain accurate digital records using an on-board tablet system.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and road traffic regulations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain site tidiness.
• Support recycling and waste diversion goals.
• Flexibility to work MondayFriday with occasional Saturday shifts.

Requirements:

• Valid UKHGV Class 2 (Category C)driving licence.
• Driver CPCandDigital Tachograph Card.
• Experience in waste management or a similar industry preferred.
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• A commitment to safety, compliance, and teamwork.
