First Military Recruitment are working alongside a rapidly expanding and Leading Supplier Of Wholesale Packaging Containers as they are on the lookout for enthusiastic and motivated HGV Class 2 Drivers to deliver pallets on a multidrop basis around Stratford, Leamington, Warwick & Gaydon. Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel and immediate service leavers.

The position will consist of driving 7.5t, 18t & 26t vehicles, depending on the profile for the particular day.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Carry out multi-drop deliveries of palletised goods to commercial customers in Stratford, Leamington, Warwick & Gaydon areas.
  • Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle, ensuring compliance with all road safety and driving regulations.
  • Complete daily vehicle checks, reporting any faults or issues in line with company policy.
  • Load and unload goods using appropriate manual handling techniques or tail lift as required.
  • Ensure all delivery documentation, including PODs (Proof of Delivery), is completed accurately and returned in a timely manner.
  • Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules and reduce downtime or delays.
  • Assist warehouse team with loading/unloading when required.

    • Skills and Qualifications:

  • Have previous HGV Class 2 experience
  • Be dynamic and have a professional approach.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to developing you own knowledge and abilities.
  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Have exceptional organisational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

    Salary: £32,000 Per Annum + Overtime Opportunities
    Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 07:30am – 17:30pm/ 08:00am – 18:00pm
