CLASS 2 DRIVERS – CAN ACCEPT NEWLY PASSED DRIVERS
Shifts: Monday to Friday – Start times from 06:00 Rates of Pay: £14.50 – £16.50 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties As a Class 2 Driver, your duties will include (but not be limited to):  • Some handball required  • Operating and driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations  • Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections  • Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured properly  • Adhering to traffic laws and regulations  • Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers  • Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management  • Assisting with loading and unloading of cargo as needed
Essential Skills To be successful as a Class 2 Driver, you will need:  • A valid UK Category C Licence  • No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes  • A valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card  • Ability to deliver kitchen and bedroom products to customers' homes (with assistance from a Driver's Mate)  • Ability to load and unload vehicles safely  • Conduct pre- and post-journey checks  • Ensure timely deliveries while following assigned routes and schedules  • Excellent punctuality and timekeeping  • Good understanding of traffic laws and road safety regulations  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
Desirable Experience  • Previous experience driving commercial vehicles  • Experience delivering large or bulky goods  • Good customer service skills (customer-facing role)  • Previous multi-drop delivery experience
Training  • Driver assessment required prior to start  • Paid training provided alongside an experienced crew member after successful assessment
