People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Radcliffe, Manchester.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing work and the chance to secure a permanent position after a successful twelve-week period.

Shifts
• Monday to Friday
• 6:00AM starts
• Average 9 hours per day (45 hours per week)

Rates of Pay
• £33,000 per annum

Day-to-Day Duties
• Safely and efficiently operate HGV Class 2 (Category C) vehicles
• Complete multi-drop deliveries using curtain-sided vehicles
• Ensure all loads are safe, secure, and correctly loaded
• Provide excellent customer service at each delivery point
• Carry out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and presentation
• Comply with all UK traffic laws and driver regulations

Essential Skills
• Valid UK Category C Driving Licence (held for a minimum of two years)
• Minimum of one year’s experience driving Category C vehicles
• Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no major endorsements)
• Positive ‘can-do’ attitude and strong work ethic
• Good communication and customer service skills

Training Provided
• Full site induction
• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
