HGV Class 2 Day Driver

We are looking for ongoing HGV Class 2 day drivers for a client based in Portbury. Work is Monday till Friday with a Class 2 rigid doing 10 to 15 drops a day. The driver will be delivering to carpet shops starting around 0630 in the morning. This work will involve some handball as not all drops will be offloaded by the site and the driver will be using proper equipment rather than a pump truck for this.

This vacancy will involve 40 to 50 hours a week paying £17.28 per hour.

Ideally our driver will:

- Have 2 years cat. C driving experience (but lower might be considered)
- Have Full UK driving licence cat. C, Tacho card and DQC
- Be happy with manual handling when necessary
- Have a good knowledge of driving laws and regulations
