We are seeking experienced and hands-on Forklift/Warehouse Operatives to join our client's warehouse team in the equestrian industry. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong warehouse experience who thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Working Hours:
Ongoing contract with opportunity of a permanent position for the right candidate
Working hours are 7:00am- 5:30pm with 1 hour lunch
Working 5 days per week (Monday to Saturday)
Key responsibilities for this position:
Perform regular inventory checks and assist with stocktaking
Pick, pack and wrap orders ready for dispatch
Organise and maintain stock and ensure goods are stored correctly
Operate warehouse equipment including forklift, VNA trucks and pallet jacks
Receive, inspect and unload incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy against delivery notes
As a Forklift/ Warehouse Operative, we require from you:
Driving licence with own transport to commute to and from work due to the location of our client.
Experience working as a Warehouse Operative is beneficial
Valid Forklift licence is required
VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) licence is preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to move and lift heavy items safely
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities

Whilst working with us here at Driver Hire Southampton the hourly rate would be £15.68 on a PAYE Advanced basis
