Previous experience working in a garden centre or selling to garden centres is essential. Key responsibilities include: Regular meetings with Buyers and Dept Managers to assess retail sales performance React to challenges and opportunities with improved merchandising, stock locations and retail staff training Identify and approach non-stocking garden centres and meet with decision makers to explore sales opportunities Build trusting relationships with all existing and prospect customers Active participation in trade exhibitions and company events Work within the UK sales team

Key Skills/Experience Required: In order to maximise the success of this role we are looking for a candidate with excellent garden centre knowledge from either a retail or field sales background. Additional skills we seek include: Natural people person who builds relationships easily High levels of enthusiasm and positive energy Good knowledge of garden centre operations

customer journeys, effective store layout, eye-catching merchandising, order processes Full driving licence and happy to travel on business as required Good IT skills and comfortable using a CRM, Excel, Outlook and Word.
