Anderson Knight is recruiting a highly organised Administrative Assistant to support our Clients Corporate Sales team on a temporary basis until June 2026, with the possibility of a permanent position.
In this role, you will be integral to the smooth coordination of sales activities, ensuring efficient communication, accurate data management, and effective event-related administration. Your contribution will help the team deliver outstanding service to clients while supporting overall revenue objectives.
Working Hours: 37 per week, Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm
Contract: Temporary until June 2026
Location: Glasgow (free onsite parking, excellent transport links, free hot meal provided daily)
Salary: £25,000
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support • Provide comprehensive administrative assistance, including diary management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements. • Prepare, format, and distribute sales documentation, financial information, presentations, and internal reports. • Monitor and manage conference sales inboxes, ensuring timely and professional communication. • Liaise with internal departments including Hospitality to ensure accurate dissemination of event information. • Coordinate client meetings and on-site visits, ensuring schedules run smoothly. • Process purchase orders and manage expense filing accurately.
Sales & Client Support • Maintain and update the CRM system, ensuring data is accurate, consistent, and well-categorised. • Produce regular CRM-based reports and insights to support sales performance analysis and identify trends or opportunities. • Carry out data entry tasks, including updating client records, logging sales activities, and capturing financial information. • Support ongoing data-cleansing activities in preparation for the rollout of a new CRM platform.
Requirements: • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong organisational and time-management abilities with an ability to prioritise effectively. • Comfortable working under pressure and managing multiple tasks simultaneously. • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, especially when handling sensitive or confidential information. • Enjoys working with data and contributing to process improvements. • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). • Confident learning and navigating new systems, such as Microsoft CRM. • Previous administrative experience, ideally within a sales, events, or hospitality environment. • Experience supporting a busy team with varied and competing priorities. • Experience using CRM or booking systems (desirable).
